More shrewd business from the club. It's almost as if it's not luck that we're finding these players. I'm fucking loving it.

Easy - first half of the 2013-14 season, when Adrian was number 2 to Jussi.

Best back up keeper since Craig Forrest who was also pretty decent.

Going back into the mists of time, Peter Grotier, understudy to Bobby Ferguson, was a decent back up. He played a number of matches in the 72-73 season when we finished 6th and when Pop won the Golden Boot that season.

As a footnote, Grotier was one of the ex Hammers wheeled out at halftime at the Villa home match last week.

Phil Parkes no 2 to Allen McKnight for half a season........

Was Rob Green number two to Carroll when he first joined?

Hislop was a pretty good number two when David James joined.

Les Sealey was brilliant full stop. He was superb in and around the dressing room I heard and according to Harry was devastated when he went with Harry and Frank. According to Harry of course!! Absolute tragedy that he passed away at such a young age.

Re Randolph it was that game for Ireland that gave his confidence a boost I reckon. He was immense that night.

I liked the uncouth scientist - Ruud BOFFIN. Unfortunately he was a bit rubbish.

Les SEALEY and Jimmy WALKER were excellent No. 2s.

And there's no way he could be dropped for the final for me (let's not get ahead of ourselves anyway).

In the games he's played he has looked as good if not better than Adrian.

Let him play and when we are 4-0 up in the final against Spurs, bring on Adrian.

Did the same with Ogbonna, if memory serves.

So what happens if we make it to Wembley?

Would be a bit harsh to bench Ranfolph for Adrian, wouldn't it?

Re: Randolph - our best number 2 keeper since...when?
Indeed, the poor fucker was written off before he'd even pulled the shirt on due to conceding so many when playing in a diabolical Birmingham defence.

Still, nothing on WHO should surprise.

Having Bernard Lama was quite entertaining for a short while. I remember him having a couple of great games and then also a few mistakes
